Looking to hire a Bouncy Castle? If you are, then do you know what you should consider or what to look for? For most people they look for a Bouncy Castle with a suitable design or theme, but what else should you be looking for?

Did you know all Bouncy Castles & inflatables need to be tested annually to make sure they comply to the European standard?

Bouncy Castles & Inflatables must be tested annually by a competent person. Most commonly used are RPII or ADIPS inspectors. Most RPII inspectors can then issue PIPA tag and Certificate if required or their own certificate, either way the compliance test is the same test to EN14960:2013. Every Bouncy Castle provider is expected to have these tests done annually on all Bouncy Castle & inflatable equipment and SHOULD have the certificates to show you when you ask for them.

It is your right and responsibility to check for these certificates when booking. Some venues may request these certificates in advance or on the day.

Every Bounce & Party Bouncy Castle has a vaild PIPA test certificate and can be viewed or downloaded from our Health & Safety section on our website.

Does the Bouncy Castle hirer have insurance?

Please ensure that the Bouncy Castle provider has sufficient insurance, However their insurance would be void without the annual tests mentioned above as insurance companies required the Bouncy Castle to be tested and have a valid test certificate at all times.

Bounce & Party have a insurance and the certificate can be viewed or downloaded from our Health & Safety section on our website.

Electrical Items

All electrical items, such as extension leads, blowers, etc, should have a current & valid PAT Certificate (Portable Appliance Test) in place again in accordance with HSE regulations. This maybe requested by the venue before the party or on arrival. You should also ensure that the Bouncy Castle provider takes all means to prevent electric shock, Such as using RCD's on all electrical set ups.

All electrical equipment provided by Bounce & Party has had a PAT test and the certificate can be viewed or downloaded from our Health & Safety section on our website.
