Where does Bounce & Party operate it's party entertainment services?

Bounce & Party operates it's Party Entertainment Packages in and around Glasgow & most of Lanarkshire. For the areas we cover please see our locations page.

What are your prices?

You will find all of our prices listed on this web site with each product or package. Please Note: There may be a small surcharge for fuel and travel time if your event is in another city or more than 10 miles from our base.

Unfortunately we do not price match with other entertainers or companies in the Glasgow area as we are all different in ability & quality of service and believe our prices represent the quality of service we provide.

Do you take a deposit?

Bounce & Party request a £50.00 non-refundable booking fee at the time of booking for all hires and services we provide. The booking fee is deducted from the total cost of your hire or package. This booking fee is non-refundable and covers our administrative costs when reserving your date and assets / equipment.

Do you provide the venue for the party package?

No, we will come to any venue that you have hired within Glasgow. For a list of recommended venues please see our recommended venues page.

Our Party Entertainment Packages are not suitable to take place within your home / residential address and this is not a service we provide.

Soft play can be delivered to a residential address of indoor or outdoor hire.

Fuel and parking

Bounce & Party are based in Glasgow and travel to venues within a 30 mile radius. Prices displayed on our website are based on a travel distance of 10 miles from our base. Venues further than 10 miles from our base will incur an additional charge to cover the cost of fuel and travel time. Any additional cost will be displayed at the time of booking. Bounce & Party require a suitable parking space for a transit sized van at the location of the venue. Should there be a charge for parking the cost of this must be paid for by the client.

Can i reserve a date / can you hold an asset or package for me?

Bounce & Party receive enquiries and bookings on a daily basis and for this reason we are unable to reserve / hold a date, asset or package for you. You can check availability on most products or services on our website.

We can advise if a date, asset or package is currently available on a certain date.

Can I have the bouncy castle or inflatable set up indoors in a venue or hall?

Yes, all of our bouncy castles and inflatables can be used indoors as part of a party package. Sand bags are used to stabilise the bouncy castle down.

We would advise that you check the height the venues ceiling, as well as the width and length, to ensure the inflatable fits. If it is going indoors please advise us at the time of booking so we know to bring the right equipment ready for delivery.

Can the bouncy castle be hired for outdoor use?

No, Bounce & Party do not hire bouncy castles for use outdoors. Our bouncy castles can only be hired as part of a party entertainment package and setup inside the venue.

Where do you hire out soft play hire?

Bounce & Party hires out soft play for indoor & outdoor home hire across the whole of Glasgow and Lanarkshire. For a full list of area's that we cover please click here.

Can soft play be hired for outdoor use?

Yes, our soft play setups are available for outdoor hire from April to October, provided the weather conditions are suitable. We cannot set up if the forecast predicts rain. The setup location should be on grass, artificial grass, or decking. Unfortunately, we cannot set up on bark, soil, or muddy areas.

How long will we get the bouncy castle or soft play we have hired for with our party entertainment package?

bouncy castles and soft play delivered as part of a party package will be available for the duration of the party unless the venue size requires us to remove the castle in the second half of the party in order to provide the full entertainment package you have booked.

Can you setup the bouncy castle or soft play in a communal / common area / field?

Bounce & Party no longer hire bouncy castles for individual hire and only as part of an indoor party entertainment package. Soft play can only be hired for private use within your home or enclosed private garden.

Bounce & Party do not provide party entertainment packages for garden parties due to unreliable weather.

Bounce & Party do not provide party entertainment packages for outdoor events due to unreliable weather.

Our party entertainment packages are not suitable for most home addresses. If you believe your home would be suitable and you have a large space for the package to take place in please contact us BEFORE booking.

We do not provide party entertainment packages in outside gardens due to unreliable weather.

Yes, we have public liability insurance up to £5 million pound, which covers for any injury or accident which can be deemed our staff or our equipments fault. Additional insurance cover is available to buy direct from an insurance broker to cover supervision and personal injury.

Do i need to provide identification (ID) / What forms of identification do you accept?

As with hiring most items, car hire, tool hire etc 2 forms of identification may be required. This will be explained to you when making your booking. Identification should include either your photographic drivers licence or passport and another form of identification that includes your home address. Both forms of identification should match and must be in the hirers name.

Are my details secure?

Bounce & Party use Square to securely process and store any payments made by credit or debit card to us. Bounce & Party do not take or keep your credit card, debit card or payment details, this is held by Square.

Any personal details (name, address, phone number, Email address etc) are stored securely on our secure hosting platform and will never be given or sold to anyone else. We may use this information to contact you prior to your booking and in the future. Please notify us if you would like your details removing following your hire.

What are the power requirements for your items?

We require one 13 amp power socket (standard household plug) for each Bouncy Castle / Inflatable and must be within 10 meters. For party packages with music and disco lights we require a minimum of 2 13 amp power sockets within 5 meters of the preferred setup location.

Is your electrical equipment PAT tested?

Yes, all our electrical equipment is PAT tested and inspected on setup.

How long will it take to set up and take away the party entertainment package and bouncy castle, soft play or inflatable?

We require a minimum of 60 minutes for packages with a bouncy castle or soft play setup to ensure that we are set up on time for the start of the party and able to provide a safety briefing. For our Bronze party entertainment package and Magic & Mayhem Package we require a minimum setup time of 45 minutes.

Larger party packages with more than one castle may require additional setup time. This will be discussed with your prior to booking.

Do you offer any multiple item asset discount if hiring more then one bouncy castle or equipment from you?

Yes if booking 2 or more bouncy castles, please contact us for a quote. Please also take a look at our party packages.

Can I use a bouncy castle in the rain?

Bounce & party no longer provide bouncy castles for outdoor hire. However should you ever have a bouncy castle outdoors for safety reasons we advise that you wait until the rain passes. Once the rain has stopped dry the bouncy castle with a clean towel.

Do the bouncy castle's & soft play come manned?

No not as standard unless stated within the package. However we can supervise the bouncy castle or soft play if required for an additional fee please contact us for more information.

What are the rules for the use of the bouncy castle?

Please adhere to the following rules when using the bouncy castle:

• All equipment must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• No hard objects are allowed on the bouncy castle / inflatable, including shoes or any kind of footwear, glasses, jewellery or toys
• Food, drinks and other messy objects are not allowed on the bouncy castle / inflatable. If we believe this rule has been broken, or if the bouncy castle / inflatable is returned in a condition beyond what would be expected from normal use, the hirer will be liable to pay a £45 charge to cover the cost of cleaning.
• Do not sit or climb on the rain covers or the walls of the bouncy castle.
• Do not overcrowd the bouncy castle.
• Please remove any children who are misbehaving.
• Please segregate sessions into people of a similar size or age.
• Generators and air blowers must be placed in an area that ensures they are not a trip hazard. Children must not be allowed near the air blower or generator.
• Generators and air blowers must be sheltered to protect them from rain showers.
• Do not smoke near the bouncy castle / inflatable.
• If the bouncy castle / inflatable is damaged due to negligence or malicious acts, the hirer will be liable to pay for the full cost of any repairs required.

How much space do I need for the bouncy castle?

Sizes stated on our site are base measurements. You will need some extra space around the bouncy castle to accommodate the fan and anchor points. Please contact us to discuss your requirements to ensure your venue has adequate space for your chosen unit to fit safely.

Are there any requirements about the location of the bouncy castle?

Our standard bouncy castles require a venue height of at least 10.5ft. Our toddler / junior castles require a venue height of at least 9ft.

Are there any age restrictions?

Our standard bouncy castles have an age restriction of 14 years old and under. Our junior / toddler bouncy castles have an age restriction of 5 years old and under. Our soft play arena has an age restriction of 5 years old and under.

We do not supply bouncy castles that are suitable for adults.

Delivery policy

Delivery is free within Glasgow (10 mile radius from our base). We may be able to deliver outside Glasgow for a small fee, please contact us.

If we are unable to provide your delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other factor, we will inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity. Our arrival time will be arranged during the booking process and confirmed the night before.

Please ensure that there is adequate space within the venue for the booked package and that the location of our products will be sited is accessible. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot fully setup your booked package due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.

Photography & video

Photographs for personal use may be taken during our performance. Photo's taken for commercial or media purposes without our written consent is forbidden. You may take short videos during our performance but we kindly ask that you do not film the entire performance without our written consent. Bounce & Party may take photos at your party / event for social media / promotional purposes (including, but not limited to, facebook, flyers, website etc). You are under no obligation to give consent. Photos taken at events open to the general public may be used without consent (written or verbal).
