Health and Safety

Here at Bounce & Party safety is always our number 1 priority. All of our staff have been throughly trained and are assessed regularly on their knowledge of Health & Safety practices. Bounce & Party are one of the few within Glasgow to be RPII accredited inflatable operators & attendants having taken the operators & attendants course and passed the exam.

When you hire a bouncy castle from us you can be sure you are hiring a clean, safe, tested, commercial compliant equipment and an inflatable from one of Europe's leading manufactures. All of the equipment that Bounce & Party hire has been designed, manufactured and maintained to the highest standards and of top commercial hire quality.

All our bouncy castles and inflatable are designed and built to BS EN 14960-13 (The European Standard regarding the inflatable manufacture, design, and operation). All of our inflatable are checked annually by a registered RPII inspector to ensure it meets the latest safety standards: EN1176 (play equipment) and EN1177 (safety surfacing).

We hold £5 million public liability insurance (to the standard industry 1 million public liability), as well as £5 million product Liability insurance. All of our electrical is also PAT tested by an independent company too. Bounce & Party will soon be an RPII accredited operator and supervisor of inflatable equipment with a recognised qualification.

Bounce & Party are able to provide copies of inflatable insurance certificates, methods statements, copies of hire agreements and conditions as well as risk assessments for most of our hire products. Bounce & Party are members of TIPE - The Inflatable Play Enterprise, BIHA - British Inflatable Hirers Alliance and BCN - Bouncy Castle Network, so when booking with us you really are in the safest of hands

Health and Safety Glossary

RPII - (Register of Play Inspectors International) provides accreditation and training to the competence level required by the PIPA scheme. By using an RPII inflatable inspector the inflatables Bounce & Party use have therefore been inspected and tested to comply fully to BSEN 14960:2013.

BSEN - British Standard European Norm - meaning the UK and European Law

BSEN 14960:2013 - is the European Standard covering the UK for inflatable design, operation and management,

PIPA - Pertexa Inflatable Play Accreditation (PIPA) scheme - The only inflatable testing scheme supported by the Health and Safety Executive and now warranted by many councils and government departments.
